Explaining Postmodernism

  • 1 Step

About

As the various revolutions of communism, socialism and national socialism turned into the worst dictatorships and bloodbaths of known history, and the patiently awaited-for socialist revolutions in Western civilisations failed to materialize in the latter half of the twentieth century, postmodern ideology arrived to reconfigure the struggle of socialism, aiming to subvert liberal capitalism and Western culture to achieve a socialist utopia. Postmodern offered termites gnawing at the cultural foundations, slowly eroding the pillars of unity, civilization, reason, science, individualism, markets, language and education. By grasping how postmodernism, with its numerous tentacles, serves only to weaken liberal capitalism and Western civilization from within, we can recognize the concealed agenda behind modern facades. These include political correctness, identity politics, victimhood narratives, oppressor-oppressed dynamics, redistribution of wealth, climate change, and the myriad politics of gender, race, and language.
